Prospective foster parents must complete at least 12 hours of training with Safe Harbor before they can be certified. This includes an orientation and an 8-hour pre-certification training which are generallyoffered monthly as follows:

• Orientation – 2nd Wednesday
• Pre-Certification training – Last Saturday

Training dates are subject to change, depending on need and other factors. Please call Safe Harbor’s Office Manager at (209) 491-5400 to confirm the date of the next training and to reserve a spot.
